Module benchwork drawings

I had originally done the drawings using MicroSoft Visio.  As I thought it might be helpful to others who are interested in lightweight modular systems, I converted them to JPG images and have also included a photo of the leg assembly.

This drawing shows both sides of the two vertical leg assemblies that have two legs each.  This leg system was designed by Peninsula Ntrak member Alan Williams and many have been used in the club over the past 15 years.

This drawing is both sides of the two horizontal cross rails that bolt to the leg assemblies with 4 1/4-20 bolts.

This is what the leg system looks like when set up.  It uses 4 1/4-20 bolts to fasten the rails to the legs. These same bolts are used to secure the 4 pieces together in a flat formation for transport and storage.

This is an exploded view of the actual modules.  There are 2 of these and they bolt together with 1/4-20 bolts.  The joint between them fits in the notches on the tops of the rails.
